Could not put this book down. Great read!

This book had me fully engaged from the get go. The sometimes “broken” writing style was different than a lot of books I’ve read; however, I fully enjoyed this because it alludes to Cady’s fragmented memories. I love the way she included the fairy tales and how they adapt as she starts to piece together what happened. Great plot twist too! Totally unexpected at first, but looking back, you realize the bread crumbs that were left behind. Great read.

An amazing, emotional read for everybody. I could not put this book down.

Read this in school and it is one of my all time favorite books. Very heart wrenching retell of the events surrounding the Holocaust. Be prepared and have some tissues on hand.
