Sexy and a bit horrifying in parts! The motivation wasn't completely believable, but a fun page-turner!

4.6/5. Highly recommend! Even though this is a memoir, anyone who loves thrillers and suspense stories will love this. It's written as a thriller, escape story - made all the more engaging because it's true!

4/5. An great story UNTIL the very end! I don't know if the author ran out of time or what, but the first 90% of the story was heavy with description and exposition (which I love), but the ending was rushed and not very believable.

4.8/5 Excellent writing - you really feel like you're immersed in the setting. Great description of characters and motivations, and not entirely predictable! Jane Harper is an excellent author.
