One of the best pieces of fiction I’ve read in a while. Vivid world building and unexpected plot twists. This deserves to be a movie/tv series.

I love how they expanded on the Giver’s relationship with his daughter, because that wasn’t explained in the book.

I started the book, but I had just watched the movie and the different time periods were throwing me off. It’s been a few years since then, so I’m going to give the book a try again.

New moon was my favorite movie, because of the filming style and sound track. I’d say it’s probably also my favorite book in the series too. I really hope Stephanie writes a sequel to Midnight sun, so I can read Edward’s POV in New moon.
