"Full disclosure: Hemingway is my favorite writer of all time. And I read a lot, and I like a lot of writers.
I started watching it with preconceptions.
That being said I still feel that it’s not the best documentary of Ken Burns. It fell flat for me, especially first 2 episodes. 3rd episode was better, I believe because the content of it is a more familiar territory for Burns. So it was more engaging. Overall it’s a decent documentary, not a masterpiece and definitely not doing full justice to the subject, but it’s educational enough and worth watching. "
