"Funny! Ear for an ear is my favorite episode so far. The cattiness between elsbeth and the female detective is hilarious! "Then you know that only hard evidence holds up in court, not gut feelings from women who wear polka dots over the age of 15." Lmao the looks that could kill and snipes at each other in this episode, I love it! Can't wait for season 2. "
"An easy, light-hearted show. The main character is too cute "

"A great twist on a crime drama done in a clever, comedic fashion. The actress playing the main character is fantastic and the backdrop of New York City adds interest to the crime investigations. Definitely a fresh show that is worth checking out for New York City lovers like myself, this is a must see."

"What a delightful show and main character! The addition of well known guest stars every week is an added bonus to how much fun Elsbeth is to watch. I never saw her character on the Good Wife so I had no expectations of what this show would be like. I’m really enjoying how she is adjusting to her new life in New York and how her friendships are developing. This is definitely one I look forward to every week. "
"Caring Preston as an actress is absolutely amazing. Now the quirkiness of the character that she portrays takes some getting used to I'll admit. Because of the people that I've been around and their personalities, I'm used to the persona that she portrays. I think it's really cool how she solves crimes like a detective and the show is funny it's in way so I would just watch a couple episodes and at least give it a shot."
"It's Columbo reincarnated as a woman. I love this show and the Elsbeth character is great! Feels like a throwback but I enjoy that. "

"4.5/5 I really enjoyed this show! The vibrant and kind of oddball lead reminds me of Shawn from Psych, along with her being this very observant consultant for the NYPD. I think that's what drew me in at first. The cases are interesting, especially since they're all high profile cases, and I like the other characters as well. The officer that she's "partnered" with, Kaya, is a lot of fun, especially watching their banter together. Even the rotation of detectives that don't like Elsbeth are fun to watch. The thing I don't like is how the killer is revealed to the audience at the beginning of each episode, I do wish there was more of a "solve the crime with us" vibe to the show, but with later episodes the stories get more intricate so it's not that big of a deal for me. I also wanted to mention, since it reminds me of Psych, this show also feels like a modern, female Sherlock, just with more color and comedy. "
