"Guy Ritchie is the undisputed heavyweight champion of the British gangster comedy/drama genre!!! I absolutely loved this series and binge watched it in 2 days. Theo James is excellent in the lead role, in fact, the entire cast is brilliant. There are little pieces of most of Guy Ritchie's previous work sewn into the fabric of this series. From "Lock, Stock, and Two Smoking Barrels", "Sn*tch", "Rock'n'Rolla", and of course, "The Gentlemen" itself and others, can all be found within this series. If you like his style then you should love this show. I truly hope Netflix brings it back for another season. Best thing I've watched in a while. 9.5/10
I took off half a point because most of the violence was implied and not actually on screen. Otherwise, it's perfect.
Here is a bonus tip: It's helpful to watch with the subtitles on. The thick English accents and some British slang can be confusing at times."
"3.5 stars for this British drug gangster series. I can see elements of humor displayed in ****** in this series as well. Entertaining well worth watching."

"This wasn't as good as I wanted it to be. Definitely British comedy vibes. Duke's son not only inherits the manor and the title, but also a stake in an illegal Marijuana enterprise. Towards the middle of the season it starts to feel tedious as it feels like there's no plot. Then in the last two episodes **** really hits the fan. Not sure if I want to watch season 2 when it comes out. "
"A Lord inherits his father’s estate and finds out his dad has been allowing a thriving weed business to grow in it. As he tries to extricate himself from the business deal his dad made, he finds himself drawn further and further into the criminal life. Loved it! British humor, one bad decision after another. Can’t wait for the next season."
