On Call

"On Call is an 8 episode series on Prime that has an authentic, gritty vibe to it. At only 30 minutes an episode, it's a quick and easy binge watch. We follow a veteran cop and her trainee in Long Beach as they answer calls and serve the community while they search for a cop killer which leads to other bad guys. Filmed in a style that makes use of body cameras and dash cams along with conventional cinematography, it kind of has an "End of Watch" feel to it. I didn't expect to like it as much as I did, so I highly recommend it if you're looking for a good cop show to watch. 8.5/10"

The show follows veteran training officer Tracie and her rookie partner, Alex, as they respond to various emergencies in Long Beach, California. The show incorporates a mix of traditional filming and footage (which I can’t determine if I like) from body cams and dash cams, giving it a documentary-like feel reminiscent of older cop shows. While I’ve only watched one episode, let’s see where this goes this season."
