"It is a really great show. It is not what youd think just from the title/cover/etc. But also it isnt what people are all making it out to be, "psychological horror" or whatever. It's not that. It is complex, it is NOT scary at all, it deals with some darker subjects.. it isnt just cutesy nonsense but it isnt anything too weird either. I loved this, and the soundtrack is great imo too. "Like a grisly car wreck, watching this anime churns your stomach, but you can't look away. This match made in hell between the magical girl and horror genres is something incredible. The animation, music, story, pacing, and tone are perfect. The only plot hole is in the ending, as there was a key decision that would have made it happier, but it may, perhaps, be part of the character's characterization that she didn't think of it. "

The character development is amazing and has tons of plot twists to keep you invested. It's also only 12 episodes so it's a good anime to binge in an afternoon. If you liked Neon Genesis Evangellion, you will love this!"
