"A female doctor heads out west to the settlement known as Colorado Springs. She faces the faults of her time (late 1800s) with sexism and racism. The show is far from perfect but they didn’t shy away from portraying some truly heart wrenching moments. "

"This show has so much sentimental value to me. I will forever love and cherish it and its characters. I especially loved Matthew and his ending felt right, they did really well with his character."

"This is a classic throwback to growing up in the nineties in a middle class Christian family and watching TV together. It had some amazing guest stars, Johnny Cash, June Carter Cash, Willie Nelson, I just watched an episode with a young Joseph Gordon-Levitt. It actually handled some difficult subject matter, it has a frank for its time depiction of “morphinism” (morphine addiction) in one episode. All around a pretty decent show. Love the nostalgia of it."
