Dude is all style + bizarre for the sake of being bizarre. Just comes across as really bad, hyper-faux-masculine David Lynch crossed w Wong Kar-wai without the substance. Or like if Elliot Rodger made movies instead of shot people. And when Kyle Maclachlan quacks like a duck - it's charming and hilarious. Billy Baldwin grabbing that tigers ass and doing queer Nixon just made me want to eternal sunshine my brains out. The guy knows how to pick a cinematographer though. "
