"Pure genius writing and acting. Can confidently say there was not an episode I did not laugh out loud watching, the only down side is there wasn’t more episodes. "

"The Derry Girls is a really funny show with a big heart and makes me Nostalgic for a life I didn’t live. I really like how they Incorporate what was going on in Ireland but also gives the characters the space to still be kids and have fun, they can stop for those serious moments but without getting whiplash like a more messy less thought out show would. Good show to watch with the girls at sleepover or stay in day. "
"(2018-2022) UK (Ireland). Meh, this show is ok. I feel like every episode is missing critical information or plot points, or I'm left out of some inside joke everyone else is privy to. Some parts were pretty funny and I enjoyed the nostalgic music, but some characters are super annoying and it didn't really hold my attention enough to watch past the first season. It's like someone dumped out a jigsaw puzzle then quickly tried to mash the pieces together and the picture is all sort of jumbled up."

"This show is hilarious! I laughed out loud every episode except the last one. Strangely enough, it was the weakest episode of the three seasons.
I watched the first two seasons a couple years ago but the third season wasn't out yet. I was really bummed. Then I got my daughter to watch the show with me (her first time watching) and it was just as good the second time. These people are like my other family I wish I had. I'm completely comforted by them and they feel like home.
Every character is so SO funny, I can't even pick a favorite. And that goes for all the adults, too!
The show is set in Derry, Ireland in the mid-'90s during the Troubles. Read up on it if you don't know what that is. Anyway, the show centers around 5 teenagers who are best friends. They go to a Catholic secondary school called Our Lady Immaculate. They get up to so many shenanigans and they are all laugh-out-loud funny. I just can't say enough about this show. I'm going to buy it and probably just have it on in the background all the time for comfort.
The soundtrack is exceptional, as well!"
