Picnic at Hanging Rock

"this mini series is quite good. it's a beautiful show and beautiful costumes and an intriguing story! however, although i found the first few episodes to be very interesting and it had my attention, it started to drag on a bit too much for me and i became bored until the final moments of the show. also, i did not like or care for any of the characters in this show... if thats what they were going for, they've succeeded - i haven't read the book to really know if tou were suppose to root for someone in any way. otherwise the acting was great"

It retains none of the charm, mystery or nuance of Peter Weir’s original film, while the characters are unrecognizable from their film counterparts. Even on its own merits, it’s not not an enjoyable watch, I had to force myself through two episodes. Don’t waste your time, just watch the film. "
