"You gotta watch & listen & sit through about 45 minutes of the beginning of this show (while the plot line is being set up) before this series ABSOLUTELY GRABS YOU‼️ And once it does, it’s a TOTALLY WILD RIDE!! 🙀🙀🙀
I found this show to be so unique & like nothing I had ever seen before. I thought it was SO FREAKISHLY GOOD ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I have no idea how S2 will be different or get any better, but I did recently read that the Creepy Murderous Robot Doll (Young-hee, from the infamous “Red Light, Green Light” game) is going to get a creepy BOYfriend in Squid Game S2!
The gigantic doll reminds me of the creepy doll statue in DEVS (another fantastically eerie mystery SciFi series by creator Alex Garland & which follows several characters working for an enigmatic tech company)
FUN FACT: tourists can visit Young-hee —She lives just 3 hours outside of Seoul, in Jincheon County — and the DEVS doll statue, Amaya, is on the UCSC campus in Santa Cruz, California (or at least I’m assuming Amaya is a permanent fixture there 🤷♀️) "
"Awesome show. Can’t wait for another season"

"Apparently I never reviewed the first season, but as for the second season, I'd like to say that I think it held up. I know many were disappointed by the end, but I thought it was a great stopping point taking into consideration that a third season was announced prior to S2's release. The concept also worked better than I expected and I was very pleased with the new cast members! Especially one of my favorites: Park Gyu-Young, was so happy to see that she was more than just an extra, which I was starting to assume since Netflix wasn't including her in any promotions. Anyway, solid S2, I'm sure S3 will be even better. I'm keeping my rating at 5/5🚦🐝"
"I vouch for the hype surrounding the show. The mystery around the premise is addicting and is now slowly unraveling. Now I don't think the reactions to trauma and death are entirely human, but the show's real draw isn't built on realism. S2 did alright but went in a slightly off direction. Despite that it's done well enough to keep anticipation going."
