"4.5⭐️ This is a show I would never have seen if it weren’t for @miaparker ‘s review of PainKiller (which I wouldn’t have watched either 😬😂). That one was crazy (see my review) but it sparked my interest to see a more straight dramatic take. Dopesick is exactly that..and a much better series. Much less frenetic and sensationalistic but still shocking and more emotionally wrenching. Michael Keaton and Kaitlyn Dever are exceptional. The things Big Industry is allowed to get away with here in the U.S. is utterly criminal but these Purdue execs should be hung by their toes. Bravo to both shows for exposing these practices to the masses. And thanks to Mia for bringing the shows to my/our attention!"
"Disturbing story based on true events with powerful performances all around. My question is? Spoiler———-don’t read if you haven’t watched.—-people should be in prison for this, not just fined!!!! Ugh!!! It’s despicable and criminal."

"Will both break your heart at all the lives lost to addiction and the families affected and then make you so angry at how the Sackler family has continued to get away with murder, keeping their hands and their billions clean. Watched who’s after I read Empire of Pain which follows the Sackler family and their introduction of OxyContin to the world. Highly recommend both the book and the show."
"Dopesick is America's opioid crisis from the perspective of patients, doctors and the pharmaceutical company men and women who spread them. One interesting sad reality that I loved to get to see is even the prescribing doctors can potentially get hooked tp the opiods they prescribed to patients with chronic pain. "
