Sarah Gailey's The Echo Wife is “a trippy domestic thriller which takes the extramarital affair trope in some intriguingly weird new directions.”--Entertainment WeeklyI’m embarrassed, still, by how long it took me to notice. Everything was right there in the open, right there in front of me, but it still took me so long to see the person I had married. It took me so long to hate him.Martine is a genetically cloned replica made from Evelyn Caldwell’s award-winning research. She’s patient and gentle and obedient. She’s everything Evelyn swore she’d never be. And she’s having an affair with Evelyn’s husband. Now, the cheating bastard is dead, and both Caldwell wives have a mess to clean up.Good thing Evelyn Caldwell is used to getting her hands dirty. At the Publisher's request, this title is being sold without Digital Rights Management Software (DRM) applied.

"Im not quite done, but I'm enjoying it so much! The plot is so basic, the struggle to deal with adultery and a failed relationship, that anyone can relate. But the author's small twist, making the other woman be a clone of the wife, makes the issues raised so delightfully intricate. I think I know how it will end, and I'm looking forward to seeing if I'm right."
"Far, far better than I could have even expected. A fun read. "

"I loooooved the drama of The Echo Wife! It's such a messy setup in the best way, and I want to see it as a TV show. I was captivated from the beginning, and I loved seeing how the story and characters unraveled. <br/><br/>CW - cheating, divorce, termination of pregnancy, abuse, mention of suicide"
"I was really trying to like this book, but I couldn’t. I feel the story itself was good, but the jargon and all technical terms and such just isn’t up my alley. I found it difficult to read and not because I couldn’t read the words, they just didn’t flow in a way I find enjoyable. "
"The terrifying hubris of bad husbands and generally mediocre men who stumble into success sometimes and still make a huge mess out of absolutely everything…and the women that always have to deal with the fallout. A top favorite of mine. I thought about this book for weeks after I finished it."
