What happens when you have to play nice with your greatest enemy? Revenge. Drew Marshall may have let me move into his spare bedroom while my house is being renovated, but don't think for one second his kindness comes without strings. Big, ugly, fake relationship strings. That's okay, though, Dr. Andrew. I'll agree to your terms, move into your house, and act like your girlfriend when the big day comes; but I also plan to make your life miserable-make you pay for what you did to me. I may not be good at forgiving or forgetting, but I'm excellent at getting even. The Temporary Roomie is a laugh-out-loud, closed-door romance with implied intimacy, mild language, and sexual innuendo.

"4.5⭐
I really liked this book! The only reason it's not 5 stars is because I found Jessie a little bit annoying. Very quick and easy read! This book was hilarious! I loved all of the banter, and the prank war they had going! Enemies to lovers, best friend's brother, fake dating, roommates, forced proximity, pregnancy trope, and dual POV! Drew was so sweet, I adored him! Jessie was kind of immature, but I still liked her. Loved getting to see glimpses of Lucy and Cooper! Definitely worth checking out!

"I like this book; it’s really addicting. I am not a huge fan of pranks, but I think Drew and Jessie together help to make up for it. I love how they love each other. Also, the little glimpses of Lucy and Cooper are everything; they are still adorable. This is not my favorite book of Sarah Adam’s, but I really do love her writing."

"I just adore Sarah Adams’ books and this is no exception. Drew and Jessie definitely start as enemies and their prank war was hilarious. However, their chemistry was palpable and I really liked the dual perspective. This was the perfect length and I never wanted to put it down. It can be read as a stand-alone but you also still see Lucy and Cooper from the previous book in this novel. Really great read, but don’t expect spice since it is labeled as closed-door romance. "

"as of all Sarah Adams’ books, I enjoyed this book! I didn’t realize it had the pregnancy trope and I haven’t read any books with that trope before but I enjoyed this one. it also included the enemies to lovers and fake dating tropes. I do like Sarah Adam’s other books better but this one was still good and fun to read."
"I love this book so much! It’s a really cute romcom. So basically it’s a “best friend’s brother”, “enemies to lovers”, close proximity”, and “fake dating” trope. It sounds like a lot for one book, but oh my gosh it works so well. I absolutely love Drew’s character and how nurturing he is. I also think that his and Jessie’s banter is so cute I couldn’t stop smiling the whole time. I hate when authors force chemistry between two characters who don’t have any, so I love how you can really see how much Jessie and Drew start to care for one another and their relationship makes sense by the end. Also it’s closed-door so not much spice and not explicit whatsoever."
"So sweet, so cute, so good! "
