"3.5/5⭐️ thus was an enjoyable read!! The imagery and setting are awesome. It would make a great beach read. I am not a huge fan of books with multiple timelines a lot of the time because the angst it too much for me but this one was nice and light. The last maybe 8th of the book brought the book down for me. The 3rd act “breakup” came out of nowhere. I get why it had to happen for Lucy’s arc but it just didn't make a lot of sense to me. There was more spice than any other Carley Fortune book there is some good tension and the spice comes in early on 2/5 spice level."
