"I think this was a wonderful conclusion to a great series overall. I don't like Mare so the changing perspectives between heros and villains really turned this series from a drag to a much more engaging dance of wits and strategy. I normally lose interest in a series by the final book so I'm pleasantly surprised I enjoyed this one so much!"
"Good ending. A wee bit long. It was alright"

"This book is amazing!! The first and last books are definitely the best out of the series. Legit could not put it down. 650 pages were simply not enough! The character development, the conflict, rivaling perspectives, romance, etc make it so good. Victoria Aveyard is such a good author! "

"BEST SERIES EVER. This series had everything that’s in a good series. Well at least in my opinion. Plotwists, trickery, violence, betrayal, lies, and so much more. I also love the books itself with science fiction, fantasy, action adventure, a little bit of romance and lots more. While also love the topics involved. 10/10 "

"When I started this saga the covers mislead me completely, I also read a review that said it was the next game of thrones. One book in and I was very disappointed, the main character made so many mistakes that infuriated me. However, I keept reading them and once I finish it I understood. This is a story of flawed characters, of growing up by force in bad circumstances, about racism, about how hard is to change a system, about a revolution. Here nobody is perfect, nobody is a hero. This is not a romantic story. But if you suffer through the first mistakes and the heartaches of the characters, this saga is really good! I understand why the comparison with game of thrones."
