"Oh my gosh I loved this book. An influencer I follow read this book and said she didn’t like it cus there were too many characters. Well I listen to books and I don’t know if that makes a difference but I wasn’t lost at all. The author did a great job keeping you informed on who is who and how they are important. I loooooooved this book!!!!"
"It was a decent read. I feel like the author allowed one part of the story to be predictable so she could get us with other twists. I don't regret reading it but don't think I'd recommend it. "

"This story about a?young woman who survived a multiple stabbing and comes back to the small town 20 years later was pretty compelling. It was evident early in the book that the correct person wasn't convicted "

"Three 11 year old girls find a skeleton in a cave in the woods. It becomes their secret and their Muse. That summer, the girls play "The Goddess games", rituals to honor Persephone.
The summer ends in a brutal attack to one of the girls only feet away from where the bones lie hidden.
Noemi survives the attack but is left scarred. The testimony she gives puts a man in prison.
Years later, the accused killer dies in prison. One of the friends tells Noemi she has something to talk about in person.
So Noemi returns to her hometown. As her fears that she sent the wrong person to prison increase, everything gets very complicated. The truth involves the skeleton, the game, and more secrets.
A good read. Definitely recommended for readers who like to be kept guessing."
"Another mystery with a hot mess of a lead character making bad decisions and getting mixed up with bad people. Naomi bears the literal scars of an attack from her childhood. The current-day story line tries to come to grips with what really happened to her. I’m done with these story lines — see The It Girl, Kingdoms of Savannah, Dirt Creek — of women excavating the troubles they faced 20 years ago. The women are all messes — enough!"
