"I'm generally a fan of most of Adam Sandler's work, but his voice and affected speech in this one was particularly annoying. There were a couple of chuckles to be had here and there but overall, I didn't like it. 3/10"

"I tried watching this but turned it off immediately in the beginning song but ended up watching it with family. And I actually enjoyed it quite a bit. It’s just a lizard who gives advice to some kids. And it’s surprisingly really well written. Dialogue wise. And i like how the main villain was redeemed at the end . Cute and sometimes funny movie. The only thing I didn’t like were the songs. I don’t think they were bad. Just not ever one to like much kid movie type songs."
