"Looks like I might need to end my likewise career here, I really don't like being advertised to and I'm going to take a break until Likewise gets things sorted. New Moon is the second twilight movie, and has no right to be as compelling as it is, there's super interesting cinematography, amazing CGI wolves, and some very well written characters. I swear Charlie is the best written character in the whole series, he's just such a great guy and he deals with so much crap. Have a good time everyone, I hope to see you again! "

"I really just like the meeting where she sees the original vampires. That part is fun & intriguing to watch. Jacob's storyline is good enough that I can suffer through it until that ending with the original vampires.
The beginning of the movie is beyond murky & annoying to wade through. I do think they showed how depression can truly mess with you but it's not good to watch. However, the progression of the story is what maintains your interest. Not just for Jacob's storyline but just for how much you want her to stop moping & move on. Just do something. You'll feel frustrated, then finally tense when the climax comes. Allowing for you to feel like you've accomplished something watching this just as Bella does too.
I've learned after finishing the series that any moment with the Volturi I enjoy immensely. It's the only true reason I watch this series. They're intriguing, intimidating, & just plain interesting.
Honestly, if this series ever were to continue the only way it would survive is if the Volturi continued to show up. I've seen fans react to a variety of things for this series, & they always seem overly invested in anything Volturi related. Even non-fans share that interest. Clearly, whatever you can say about this show, these villains work. The only true problem being they're completely side-lined in a long variety of ways. Sadly, the moments with them are few & far between, but they are still good.
I once heard someone describe the entire series as bad. That all 4 books are plain bad. However, it is beyond interesting. This person read every single page of those incredibly thick novels. So they admitted that while the story could use a lot of work it is also interesting enough to make up for it. Both the author & creators of these movies have that going for them. No matter how many critiques we can think of & will throw at these films, it won't change the undeniable fact that the story's will intrigue you & capture your interest."
