"This is my favorite Spider-Man movie ever! I love the way they did multiverse in this movie it’s so wholesome and just the love in this movie is very felt. I live for all the art and how every character has their own vibe but still look like and perform Cohesively with one another. #animation #superheroes "
"Loved the animation really just so smooth and unique. I thought the story was standard but It worked. The simple story helped bring better emotional moments, which probably would be harder with a harder to understand story. Peter porker, cop peter, and anime girl peter all weren’t necessary for the story but I think throwaway characters are fine. I really loved how outgoing everyone seems which makes the dialogue feel way more fun and natural. Again the animation is a sight to see. Word Limit?"
"I can't believe I haven't reviewed this yet. It is beyond fantastic. The animation, the story, the jokes, the cinematography, the execution, the end credit scene, the characters, the memes, the stakes, and just everything is absolutely fantastic.
Normally I worry about over-selling a movie. But not this one. It's got comedy, action, and anything else you could want. Words cannot do it justice.
The villain is not only perfectly intimidating but has heart. You may just route for him a few times too.
Then the other characters, whoo! There's too many to mention in this limited review. Yet every single one has depth and just shines. Even the lackeys. You love seeing them work and especially seeing them get beat. The family is realistic, fun, and just wholesome all around. Love that shoulder touch. Then for the other spider people each one is so much fun. I've always hated Spider-ham with a passion but I could tolerate him here. I love Spider-Noir, and he really shined here too. I didn't know about Peni until this movie but now I am a fan. Spider-Gwen is just what you want her to be and a tad more as well. Both normal Peter's are great. Blonde bad a phenomenal exit. Yet I love the defeated one. Seeing him progress throughout the movie made everything worthwhile. Every line from him is gold, especially when interacting with Miles. Truly it's GOLD!
Now for Miles. Where do I begin? I'd never seen his origin story, just how he is later in the game. Seeing it played out so spectacularly blew my mind. The way he progresses is cinematically sound. I love his confidence at the end. He earned it.
Now for that animation. My friend went to an animated convention and they watched this after it came out. She couldn't hear the movie because they wouldn't stop clapping. This is a 2 hour movie. 2 hours of nearly nonstop clapping. Even in the credits. They were astounded.
For great reason, too. I can confidently say this is the closest humans will ever get to making a Perfect movie."
