"A great stop motion film about a man with nouveau riche parents, who hope to marry him to the daughter of a rich family in town who lives across the town street. What starts as an awkward first meeting goes down hill as the night goes on, when the groom rehearses his lines and awakens someone from the towns past! Worth watching as life and afterlife are separated but begin to mix with a proposal."

"⭐️⭐️⭐️ Rewatch. I remember it being cooler, more darkly gothic. It was too silly for me this time around and the happy swingtime and Broadway style music didn’t fit. I felt like the music should have cast a different vibe, spookier, sadder, darker, something. If it wasn’t for Wednesday I might think I was over Tim Burton and Danny Elfman. Definitely over Depp and have been since Alice in Wonderland but all the voice acting was good. "

"Hauntingly beautiful, and actually pretty tragic..but at least it’s a good time. I love this movie with its quite dark tone that’s cut through with entertaining and lighthearted musical numbers and fun/funny characters. I’d say a good movie for a junior spookyster to watch also! "
