"As modern warfare comes to China the past comes upon the Dragon Warrior, when the prince seeks to take over as king he and his men begin to take those of Kung fu and imprison them or worse. Worth watching as the journey of the Dragon Warrior enters the middle of its trilogy, bring events of the past to light to find a path to his future!"
"This is my least favorite of the first three movies, I can't really put my finger on it but it just wasn't for me. The action was good as always and I always love to see what lesson the dragon worrior will learn but this movie was just okay.
I wasn't the biggest fan of the villain but his back story was intreating but he just kinda annoyed me to be honest. "

"I was going to watch a different movie but just wanted something more lighthearted.(the movie was lighthearted from what I heard. But mainly watched this because it wasn’t 2 hours)
I think I did watch this as a kid because I recognized certain scenes. I definitely didn’t watch the whole thing though. I was going to watch the full series through. But I’ve rewatched the first one so many times when I was younger. So I can remember most of it.
Anyways this was pretty good. I liked the action. And I liked how fluid the animation was. Story was basic but it still worked well. I liked the Shen wish he had a little more screen time. And fight scenes as well. But I guess he really wasn’t much of a fighter like tai lung was. I enjoyed the silliness to a certain extent.
Now my only complaint is the silliness is a bit much for me. I don’t why I add that to a complaint for kids movies/shows because not many. Aren’t too childish.
Solid though can’t wait to watch the next.
(If you’ve watched the new one is it worth a try. I’ve considered after the 3rd but don’t want it to leave a bad taste for the series.)"
"Kung Fu Panda really took the world by storm. I enjoyed it, but when this came out I had no interest in seeing it. When I finally watched it I was so mad I didn't do so sooner. This movie is fantastic. Its what helped establish in my brain that Dreamworks sequels just go above and beyond! They're so good! (We can ignore a few of the newer ones)
It's still got great voice acting, incredible animation (especially during those fight scenes), an amazing story, and comedy out the wazoo! It's a fun ride that you and your kids will enjoy. It even hits hard on the emotional impact like a Pixar movie in many ways. Plus, that villain is truly something.
Still, this movie retained what the first one accomplished but didn't throw away what it did either. It kept growing the character instead of reverting them back to what they were in the first movie. I despise sequels that do that. You can grow & still have more room to grow. Po does that here. He is more confident but that doesn't mean he's suddenly perfect.
The beginning can be a bit slow and Po can be a bit dense too, but we're used to that. Some moments can seem to drag on for comedic sakes making a rewatch a tad tedious but it's still worth seeing. And there's so much that makes up for those small inconveniences.
I adore the villain. I truly think a villain can make or break a movie. This one made it for me. He's intimidating, had true motivation, was beyond clever, fun to watch, somewhat relatable, kind of funny, and just a great surprise. I adore every moment he's in. He's beyond phenomenal! Nobody can tell me differently.
The ending is spectacular. I was on the edge of my seat and begging for more throughout. That climax truly had my heart pumping and when those final moments came I couldn't keep the smile off my face if you paid me. The payoff at the end is so satisfying as well. All of it just felt above and beyond."
"A great sequel that builds on the original perfectly. The parallel between Po and antagonist Shen is great. They also have a personal rivalry. Although the antagonist lacks clear motivation, I thought this was a great movie."
