"Very cute and funny holiday rom-com. The chemistry between Emma Roberts and Luke Bracey is awesome. Only complaint is that they didn’t build up the relationship and tension between the leads enough before they got together. The lead up was extremely short. Great movie over all"

"I laughed until I cried with Holidate. Movies like this normally aren’t my jam, but I guess Emma Roberts, the swearing, the loss of limbs, the goofy matching sweaters, the Dirty Dancing moment, and Black Panther did it for me. I had fun, and in all honesty, that’s all that matters."

"3.75*s This is my second time watching this. I got my daughter to watch it with me this year. I think it's a hidden gem. Yes, it's a rom-com. Yes, it's cheesy. Yes, it has Emma Roberts, who a lot of people don't really care for, as was once the case with me, probably because I can't stand her aunt. BUT! It's really pretty funny and cute. The laxative scene is hil-a-ri-US!!! The acting feels a bit off at first but stick with it. Give it a chance. It was worth two watches from me and I know I'm going to watch it again. Emma is adorable and her holidate is quite handsome. Also, Emma reminds me of tv's Buffy in this, which had my daughter quite happy. Try it. I hope you find it as endearing as I do."
