"It’s a bit too long but I enjoyed it all the same. Kinda reminded me of Nollywood movies I used to watch with my mother when I was younger. It has a heavy superstitious plot line if you’re into that. Spoiler: idk why but it made me laugh so hard when one of the characters was giving a whole monologue about death and embracing it when it’s your time,while he’s basically about to die, but then being like oh wait I still have that wedding I need to attend so nvm. 😂"

There are many facts, many completely different paths and many twists and turns, but nothing is well connected, there are so many paths that at the end you can hardly remember the beginning. The make-up and effects are also very average, nothing here generates much emotion."

"The complexity of the story, the acting, and the depth of historical knowledge and interweaving of Korean and Japanese folklore, beliefs and mythology are astounding. The acting is top notch. The story is engaging. This is excellent. That being said it is subtitled and has tremendous depth that people unfamiliar with asian superstition and religion may not understand without additional research. If you like a complex atmospheric story and aren't opposed to a movie making you think and possibly search the Internet to understand some of the symbolism, give this a go."
