"I thouroughly enjoyed watching this movie, even if I didn't quite fully understand it on a first watch. I thought it was scary and did a great job at reeling the viewer in. It was very original and the writing was done tastefully. I highly reccomend watching Cuckoo if you want a new monster movie to watch. If you are someone sensitive to high pitched noise, then I would recommend maybe skipping this movie. "
"Cuckoo was an odd film, but it was oddly entertaining nonetheless. The entire cast was phenomenal, with standout performances from Hunter Schaefer and Dan Stevens. The film was very well shot, and the sound design was pretty impressive as well. It felt a little slow for a movie that was under two hours, but it didn't deter me from enjoying the film as a whole. Also, the messaging in this movie isn't as straightforward, so I'd recommend looking up YouTube essays or giving it a second watch to fully understand. Overall, I had fun with this movie. It's like if The Shining met John Carpenter's Halloween. "
"If Wes Anderson and Roman Polanski made a movie together… Horror-body horror-sci fi."
