"Amélie is a huge comfort movie for me! I love the creativity that just busting out the seams, the child like wonder put onto adult Situations while still being adults at its core is a vibe I haven’t seen a lot of and it just makes me feel so warm. This movie is warm and inviting. #romance #whimsical "
"Such a heartwarming movie. There isn’t really a rock bottom for the main character like most movies. It’s kind of just a character living her life
I really liked the game she was playing with her lover. It felt mysterious and also cute. I wish they showed more between them. But it’s honestly the perfect amount that should be shown for romance.
It was hard not to feel good with all the people she was helping. Spoiler warning. I don’t think hearing this takes away from the movie though.
Her speaking enthusiastically to the blind man. Her giving the old man his childhood treasure.
Her listening to the woman’s passed husbands love letters. And many other things
I especially liked the gnome plot with her dad. I don’t know why but I really liked that storyline. It was cute to see her dad’s reaction to the gnomes photos.
I really enjoyed this.
The actress herself is honestly super adorable.
Lucien was probably my favorite character.
Just a nice easygoing movie to watch. There’s never a moment not to watch this. This movie fits so many occasions.
I just wished I seen it sooner."
"Ugh…annoying and boring."
