"I thouroughly enjoyed watching this movie, even if I didn't quite fully understand it on a first watch. I thought it was scary and did a great job at reeling the viewer in. It was very original and the writing was done tastefully. I highly reccomend watching Cuckoo if you want a new monster movie to watch. If you are someone sensitive to high pitched noise, then I would recommend maybe skipping this movie. "

"3.8 Stars. Original story, great lead actress. Just enough oddity, tension and creep in the main storyline. Cuckoo to me presents an eerie mix of The Shinning, The Lobster and Dogtooth. Though not nearly as superior in it's final result, it scratches the itch well."

"This is a strange flick. And that’s exactly what I was hoping for. Weird and beautiful concepts that form what can be interpreted as an allegory for grief. I think the movie could have had more questions answered but I suppose mystery is what the writer and director was hoping for. Overall, great film. 8/10"

"Honestly surprised with how much I enjoyed this film. The concept, powers of the cuckoo, and buildup were all great. However, the big issue with this movie is the length, and stupid decisions the characters make throughout the movie. Movie definitely needed to be a bit longer just so they could give more context on the cuckoos, Konig and the resort, and more info to what happened to Beth once she went home. Felt like a lot of things were left unanswered."
