"All I could think about while watching this movie was that this was a high value production of Twilight fan fiction. I understand the hype because many scenes were hot, but so much of the dialogue was so cringey. Like they would grab my attention and then let out a line that made me crack up. As for what I liked, the score and soundtrack for this movie slapped. The cinematography was also very pretty. I enjoyed the color grading and the costume choices, especially with keeping Ana’s color scheme in shades of gray. As for the acting, this has to be the most amount of emotion I’ve seen Dakota Johnson show on screen. Jamie Dornan was smoldering and I enjoyed his depiction of Christian. All and all, this film is really a so bad it’s good watch."

"Oh! Don’t even get me started on these movies! SUCH a disappointment! These movies are yuck! And I love Jaime Dorman, who plays Christian Grey, but he played him soooo wrong. I think most fans of the books hate the movies. I know I do. These books deserve so much better. They deserve the time too to make them closer to the books. These books really need to be made in a series. Like on Netflix or some other streaming service. Ok, I’ll stop. I just hate these movies. They are terrible. Not worth your time. "
