"This has to be one of if not my favorite adventure movies of all time which is saying something because I’m not really a adventure movie girly. I just watched it recently and forgot just how good it actually is, it’s so fun, funny and make you want to be an egyptologist/adventure yourself. The characters are really likable and probably the best part of the movie and really make it what it is, the chemistry between everyone is immaculate and it’s what you want in every movie you see. I also have memories as a child of being terrified of the scarabs, the sense of them burrowing into that man’s skins was one of the most horrific things I’ve seen in my little life and in turn had a nightmare but I also wanting to watch it again cause it was just so much fun. The one thing I’d say is that the cgi is really dated but I don’t think it takes anything away from it, it’s just kinda ugly to look at is all. If you still haven’t watched it and love adventure movies please give this a watch. 👍🏻"
