"⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This show is better than I thought it would be. Definitely unique, some standard procedural with a splash of soapy drama but mostly a cool futuristic techno thriller. Not all of it works all the time. The interpersonal drama definitely doesn’t..and the time jumps were making my head hurt. I want to say this show is sci fi but it feels too close to home right now to even tag it that. Current AI applications are scaring the pants off me and this shows why. It could happen. And not be so tidily wrapped up. "
"As a parable about the dangers of AI, it works pretty good. But it tries to be so much more, in many ways and to varying degrees. Not as good as other recent shows in this genre like The Diplomat or Sentinel, it boasts a phenomenal cast including Kate Mara playing a really cool character. Looks like this was a one off, so at only 8 episodes, it’s worth a watch despite some questionable characters arcs and the rushed ending. Oh, and don’t get me started on how all the rage now is the nonlinear direction all these shows have now. It’s taxing. Now get off my lawn!"
"I couldn’t stay focused enough to watch a full episode without turning to my phone. "

"Interesting premise, rough delivery. Bouncing through/between three timelines in EVERY episode was a little too distracting. Maybe that was intentional, but it didn’t feel like the point was driven home by this setup - it seemed like an artistic take that just didn’t need to happen. "
