Set in Texas, this animated series follows the life of propane salesman Hank Hill, who lives with his overly confident substitute Spanish teacher wife Peggy, wannabe comedian son Bobby, and naive niece Luanne. Hank has conservative views about God, family, and country, but his values and ethics are often challenged by the situations he, his family, and his beer-drinking neighbors/buddies find themselves in.

"King of the Hill was one of my favorite show to run into when channel surfing back in the day and I still will watch it if it’s on, everything about it is so iconic and quotable! Some episodes are very deep and talking about important and sometimes even hard subjects while still being wholesome and the most important bit still making you laugh. #animation #comedy "
"I didn't like this show for the longest time because it just came off as this dated, boring animation about conservative rednecks. But after letting a couple dozen episodes play in the background, I realized that the show is indeed self-aware of what it is. Every episode's plot is unique, and I really appreciate its dry humor, the references to past episodes, and each of the character's signature qualities & relationships; especially Hank's ongoing disappointment towards his very un-matcho son, Bobby. The whole thing is actually well thought-out."
"Very funny and very well written. I love the grounded tone."
