A small town is suddenly and inexplicably sealed off from the rest of the world by an enormous transparent dome. While military forces, the government and the media positioned outside of this surrounding barrier attempt to break it down, a small group of people inside attempt to figure out what the dome is, where it came from, and when (and if) it will go away.

"The ending itself is like a cliffhanger but I expected that knowing of the show’s status being cancelled. Season 1 was my favorite season without a doubt. Season 2 wasn’t bad either. Season 3 had its ups and downs, but kept the mysteries going. Overall, I’m still giving the show 5 stars b/c it did keep me interested all the way through and had good drama suspense moments all throughout it."
