"If you like true crime WATCH THIS SHOW!! With haunting pretrials of real life serial killers that are scary accurate to the real men behind them. Also David Fincher is involved and he’s a master of the true crime narrative and you can feel his influence all over it. Good show, good acting! 👍🏻👍🏻 Also as a person who loves psychology this show made me very happy. "

"Watched this one twice...so far. It is based on true happenings about killers in the '70s that helped coin the term "serial killer" and the FBI agents who started a program to study these killers that were already behind bars in the hopes that it would help them to identify and capture other serial killers. They got some great actors to portray these known serial killers but my favorites were Gacy and Manson. Spot on! And the '70s vibes were as perfect as I've ever seen in any show or movie that wasn't filmed in the '70s! I highly recommend this show and I'm, as usual, sad that it didn't get more seasons. "

"Mindhunter maps the beginning of the FBI’s Serial Crime Unit. This team started out by interviewing serial killers in prison to better understand their behavior. It was supposed to have a 5 season run but we only have two. Series showrunner David Fincher said it was too expensive with not enough viewers. A shame really. But don’t let that stop you from watching Mindhunter. If you dig the genre, you’ll dig the two seasons. "

"Upsetting that the show was canceled as the people who did the casting of the show did spot-on look-alikes of the criminals which are creepy in a way. The storytelling in the show was so good and gave you another perspective of what happened and why."

"A fascinating look at the FBI profilers, with edgy drama and chilling context. Real life transcripts of serial killer interviews are used and the story is a gripping, addicting look at the study of crime. Great for true crime and Criminal Minds fans, but is darker than the show. A really good drama, but be warned that it was cancelled after a few absolutely amazing seasons. (It ends on a very small cliffhanger, but still worth a watch)."
