"Another one I can't give two thumbs up to. I mean, how many revenge shows/movies have a happy ending?! I guess Kill Bill was one and I know there are many others I'll think of later but for the most part, seeking revenge doesn't usually end with rainbows and song birds. There was just way too much sadness in this one. A real downer. There WERE some great fight scenes, especially in the last episode. That was the best thing about this show. Don't get me wrong. I love revenge movies, especially when there's lots of fighting. This one just felt like a sh it show of negativity and the last episode was too much for me. I finished it because it WAS the final episode but after this one thing happens, I realized that happy endings are for fairytales and I wasn't going to leave this show with a single warm fuzzy. The acting was solid as was the fight scenes choreography, but I wasn't stunned by any plot twists and one of them I saw from the first episode. No surprise for me there. Of course I go into these kinds of shows for the action/fight scenes and I'll continue to love watching them, even if I'm pretty sure I won't necessarily like the ending. I will always prefer a happy ending but, what can I say, the fight scenes call to me. Also, it's always fun watching the bad guy(s) meet Karma. Another show that wasn't a waste of time but isn't getting more than three stars from me. I'm watching The Glory. Here's hoping that it will be better than this one and Parasyte The Grey. "
