The #1 bestselling series that started with Stalking Jack the Ripper and Hunting Prince Dracula continues its streak in this third bloody installment . . . Audrey Rose and Thomas Cresswell find themselves aboard a luxurious ocean liner that becomes a floating prison of horror when passengers are murdered one by one, with nowhere to run from the killer. Embarking on a week-long voyage across the Atlantic on the opulent RMS Etruria , Audrey Rose Wadsworth and her partner-in-crime-investigation, Thomas Cresswell, are delighted to discover a traveling troupe of circus performers, fortune tellers, and a certain charismatic young escape artist entertaining the first-class passengers nightly. But privileged young women begin to go missing without explanation, and a series of brutal slayings shocks the entire ship. The strange and disturbing influence of the Moonlight Carnival pervades the decks as the murders grow more and more bizarre. It's up to Audrey Rose and Thomas to piece together the gruesome investigation before more passengers die before reaching their destination. But with clues to the next victim pointing to someone she loves, can Audrey Rose unravel the mystery before the killer's horrifying finale?

"This was the third book in the series and seemed to have a strange plot but I enjoyed following the characters as they solved another string of murders."

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH That was SO GOOD!!!!!!! I really, REALLY liked the motive behind the killings this time, as well as the whole theme of the midnight carnival!!!!!! I've always wanted to go to something like that tbh!!!!!!!!!! I will admit, this Is my least favorite of the series so far, because of the deceit aspect between Audrey Rose and Thomas. I've never been a fan of that troupe, and with the love triangle aspects thrown in, it got slightly tiresome. That being said, I still GREATLY enjoyed it!!!!!! I definitely did not expect who the murderer was this time, either!!!!!!!"
"I’m going to need at least 7-10 business days to recover from this book. I adore these characters, even when they’re causing me extraordinary pain—except Mephistopheles, who I hate more than literally anyone else. And once again, Kerri Maniscalco has crafted a brilliant, unpredictable mystery with ever-rising stakes. I couldn’t put this down. 💙💙💙"
"I’m reading ever after Diana and the life she lef"

"<i>”’Actually, I was contemplating murder.’<br/>‘Not mine, I hope.’ He leaned over the railing and glanced sideways at me. ‘Though I am rather handsome in this suit. I suppose if it's my time to go, I might as well go in style. Be sure to keep my face intact. I want you to swoon and mourn at my funeral.’"</i><br/><br/>3.5 stars. <br/>ummm. the first half of the book nearly made it put me down"
