"I am not a love story kind of girl but I wanted to try something different this month and venture out of my reading comfort zone. This novel was on kindle unlimited and I downloaded it on a whim to read. I know that romance can be called smutty but that is absolutely not this novel at all. It was very PG-13 and reminded me a lot of the YA love stories I read when I was growing up. Although it is not my preferred genre, this was still a nice summer read."
"4/5 This was such a good book! It brought me back to my teenage years and falling in love with my husband. The way this author wrote the characters was so special. I highly recommend giving this book a read. "

"This was one of the cutest books I’ve ever read hands down. I LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEEE the idea and plot like it’s actually genius. The summer beach love romance plot thingy is used a lot but this, this was so genius. The characters and also super likable, and I’ll admit I cried once or twice. Definitely a book to read in the summer (especially on the beach)!! It also has an unexpected ending, did the book NEED to be nearly 400 pages? No. Am I mad about it? No. GO READ IT RNNNNNN!!!"
"Loved this book. 4 stars for sure. It was gooey fluffy goodness and if you spent your summers around water as a kid / teenager then this book is for you. Meredith and Wit are the cutest YA couple. Their problems feel like actual real world problems. It’s cute but not childish. Just a great feel good summer ending read. "
"Im so sad, I wanted to love this book! I don’t know if I’m the only one to think this, but there were way too many characters introduced in the beginning of the book and it lost me. Wasn’t very into the Assasin game that was going on the whole book either. It was too much of the game and not enough of the romance or building on characters. 😬 "
"I know a lot of people say this is a good book… and it is but, not my thing. Don’t get me wrong I liked it just, there was not really a problem separating the two love interest. Like it felt very bland but it was readable. I just wanted to finish the book really badly so I read it. Personally I didn’t find it interesting. 2.5/5⭐️"
"a fun cute read, I read it in 24 hours! I am a huge fan of childhood friends-to-lovers and although this was basically the opposite of that, almost instant lovers, I really enjoyed it! Meredith and Wit are so cute and I was happy for them in the ending. I am an adult who still likes to read YA but sometimes YA books are too childish for me. this one was great though and I’d recommend to any older teens who like a more mature YA book without stepping into adult novels! this was my first K.L. Walther read but I’ll definitely be reading more of her books! 4.5/5 ⭐️"
