"I don't have much patience for 'love at first sight' romances, even when the author tries to disguise them with a different name ("Chosen", in this case) and adds some supernatural mumbo jumbo that forces the link on the two rather than it just happening.
However, that's pretty much my only complaint as far as this novel goes. Tough police woman protagonists without being an as$hole? Check. Loads of action? Check. Wonderfully well rounded and variable characters? Check! And the series was complete as of 2019 I believe so no waiting forever for the next book!"
