"ok so the spice in this was really great! tbh although I came around to it - I wasn’t super into the main characters’ romance… I weirdly felt like I wasn’t sure if I could root for them but I mean I guess that’s also what really drew me into them? the fmc sister was such a crazy component to the story cause on one hand I was like awww but then things got crazy!!
I basically read this in a day because I just wanted to hit the point where they were good with each other and it took awhile HAHA - there was a lot of angst and insecurity (which was so fair considering everything) but once they figured it out - they were really sweet and I enjoyed it!"
"I've never had a book piss me off so much. Raven deserved better, and I hate that she settled for Ares. Oh, he showed up on a helicopter and begged for me back, so I'll forgive him. Nah. **** that. He has no likable qualities. If he hadn't found out her sister lied about him being the father, he'd have probably ended up going back to her eventually."

"Usually I don’t leave reviews, but I LOVE this book soo much! I’m going on my 5th time reading it and it’s still just as good as ever. The twists and turns and ups and downs of Ares and Raven’s relationship kept me hooked. I’ve read the rest of the Windsors and AresRaven is by far my favorite couple.

Ares: His character is one of my favorite men that Cat’s written (and I’ve read a LOT of her books). He’s kind and always tries to be considerate of Raven, and he always has been, even when he was with Hannah. He also is never above groveling and I love that for Rave.

Raven: Her character felt very realistic for me. She struggled in her situation but still always tried to do her best and to make the most of whatever she could. When Hannah comes out with her biggest ploy yet, Raven tries to stick it out and persevere. However, my favorite thing about Raven is that she knows when to take a step back and focus on what best for her (which she did what the last Hannah Ploy).

Basically I love these two and their story so much, and this was a good way to start the series. The family was shown just enough to keep you interested for their stories, and I can’t wait for Sierras book to finally be out ❤️"
