"I didn't like this as well as her latest Fire with Fire which was a real page turner. However it was a little nostalgic as I remember a trip long ago to Cairns and all the crocodiles. "

"This was a top notch mystery. The characters were so nuanced and vivid, and the pacing! I would have stayed up all night to finish this book. Everything was so intricately woven together, and in a way that I would never have been able to figure out. And the location was stellar, I could practically feel the humidity of Cairns as I read. Absolutely fantastic, I can’t wait to read more from Candice Fox, and I do hope this is the start of a series<br/>because I need more of these (fictional) people!"
