#1 New York Times bestselling author!Booklist Editors’ Choice 2015 - Youth! Named a "Best Book of 2015" by Time Magazine, School Library Journal, Barnes & Noble, NPR, PopSugar, The Millions, and The News & Observer!Simon Snow is the worst Chosen One who's ever been chosen. That's what his roommate, Baz, says. And Baz might be evil and a vampire and a complete git, but he's probably right.Half the time, Simon can't even make his wand work, and the other half, he starts something on fire. His mentor's avoiding him, his girlfriend broke up with him, and there's a magic-eating monster running around, wearing Simon's face. Baz would be having a field day with all this, if he were here -- it's their last year at the Watford School of Magicks, and Simon's infuriating nemesis didn't even bother to show up.Carry On is a ghost story, a love story and a mystery. It has just as much kissing and talking as you'd expect from a Rainbow Rowell story - but far, far more monsters.

"⚠️SPOILER WARNING ⚠️ OK. The first book in this series was good, but the two books to follow literally made me hate this trilogy. The first book was perfect. Only a few loose ends that need to be tied up and should’ve been tied up in the second book and better explained in the third. but no, they took an unnecessary road trip in America, and the only good thing that came out of that was Shepard (love him sm, literally my favorite character). But the thing that really made me angry about this series is that in the third book they took less than two chapters to explain the biggest plot twist in the first book also in the third there was so many unnecessary side plots that could’ve easily been solved, but instead took the whole book to figure it all out. But overall the world building, romance(EXEPT FOR BAZ AND SIMON IN THE LAST TWO BOOKS 🤮), and characters were amaze, and I love recommending the first book people, but I always warn them about the books next to come because they’re just SO BAD."
"So romantic cute and fun!!"

"I enjoyed reading this a lot! I don't think I've read any other fantasy book with such well written lgbtq+ representation (by which I mean a character exploring their identity, since most fantasy books have gay characters who are already out and proud, and it's not really a part of the story). The ending felt rushed and it was a little confusing to me, but it was still a great read overall."
"i think when i'd read this book previously, i only really cared about simon and baz. they are what has stuck in my brain in the years since i read it, so the first hundred or so pages this time around, i was bored waiting for baz to finally show up. but the other plotlines took me by surprise. i put a lot more thought to the political implications of the mage’s actions and this war. i was sick to my stomach reading lucy's story. i appreciate it differently now, more wholely. though i do think its many perspectives get confusing, and it does very much feel like the finale to a long series, in that there seems to be so much more that the characters and the author know that i’m not let in on."
"I love this book. It’s like a modern Harry Potter, with a little gay. Baz is such a mood and I love him, his backstory is so sad though, I mean all that happened to his mom. Simon and Baz are so cute together, I honestly was waiting until Simon realised that he was gay for Baz and I hope they end up together."
