"Typo within twenty pages, Graystripe magically knows Rusty's name. Rusty runs away from his owners to avoid getting neutered and joins a cult in this religion based story. This series contains a lot of violence, incest, and detailed childbirth scenes, but luckily the first few books don't. "
"Reading this book has been on my Back burner for 18 years and now I finally read it and wow is it just absolutely amazing. This book has a great set up for so much to happen in the future, and the characters are amazing. I wish there was a tv-show or film series for this franchise, maybe one day."
"God, when I read this book, nothing could top it. I got very invested and even hesitated finishing the thing!"

"By no means a masterpiece, with basic plots. However, it IS a best seller for a reason. It's a perfect introduction into reading with a fairly low reading level - if you're rusty, in middle school, or just want something simple to read, this series is perfect. You'll fall in love with the characters and learning their way of life. Even if you're past middle school, I recommend reading at least once - a bit hard to adjust to the lower reading level at first, but well worth putting aside your own expectations to simply enjoy it. The writing style is strong in descriptions of landscape, and includes details of the cats body language and way of life, thus taking advantage of being about cats. It also has some world building in the form of culture and religion, which plays a major role in the plot. It's weak in complex plots and has plenty of plot holes which don't make sense if you're used to more complexity, but it's worth putting that aside to enjoy the overall story and follow along with the characters."
"see while this is in no way a literary masterpiece this is a PERFECT introduction to this series and will hook you in. The main character himself is an outsider to this world so we get to learn along with him and cheer him on as he advances through clan life. We have so many loveable characters and hateable characters and i wish when Warriors characters had personality like this. The first six books are absolutely great I reccomend. "
