"This was the final book in the series and I was sad to leave the characters but it was a great read. You can definitely tell a lot of the situations are fictional, even for this plot, but still a fun series to read. I truly enjoyed the fresh take on the murderers that were and weren't caught in the infancy of pathology and criminal studies. "

"<i>”Despite the plummeting temperature in our carriage I felt the sudden need to fan myself. He pulled his attention back up to mine, lips quirked upward.<br/>‘Perhaps you'll be the one getting me warm. I'm not opposed to either scenario, really. Ladies' choice.’<br/>My cheeks pinked. ‘Scoundrel.’"</i><br/><br/>thank god this book was good after that last one. the actually element of the first book was back & made this book so good!! something i noticed is the back of these books always like spoil the book in a way…. which is why i was able to predict what happened but it was still good nonetheless!!<br/><br/>(btw there was a quote about the clouds being pregnant and giving birth to rain????? that made me laugh)"
"4.5/5!! plot was kind of lacking imo but it was definitely really captivating towards the end, although i did figure out the killer again which made the realization less anticipating than i would’ve liked, HOWEVER cressworth has absolutely rotted my brain. kerri u are so sick for part 1 that’s all i have to say."
"I suppose it was a good way to wrap up all the lose ends. I was actually hoping for more books in the series. What did you think of the ending?"

"I’ve only read this series I honestly couldn’t say if I liked this one more than the others I really enjoyed them all. They didn’t rock my world or anything but they were worth the read. "
