"This series is just so well done! It is so inclusive regarding roles of women, mental health, and shows such communication between partners. Shelly is someone I fell in love with. I love that Beau obviously notices her beauty (and doesn't care that she's older - without being creepy) but also is so supportive of her mental health and isn't judgemental at all. I like the tension that builds throughout the beginning of the book and even though their relationship moves really fast, it's nice that the books mention the relationship got very deep quickly too so it feels very balanced. There were a few tiny twists that I didn't expect and just added a nice depth to the book. This fit very well into the series and it was neat that it ran mostly congruent with Cletus' book (#3). There was a part of this book that made me really dislike Duane and Jess and their story, but I think that comes down to personal preference. Really excellent read and I can't wait to read more in this series! 5 stars, 2.5 spice"
