The main character is extremely likable while being a very very realistic depiction of a girl who isn't blindly optimistic or entirely sullen. I have read many books about faeries as well, and thought the potrayal of them in this book was very three-dimensional and interesting. There was one aspect of their character and society that I thought was absolutely excellently written, more than any other book! I highly recommend the story for anyone of any age."

It was really slow moving and I found it being really repetitive and everything that was interesting was jam-packed in the final two chapters. I also feel like the initial problem of the story wasn’t solved by the end of the book, or it was done in a lazy manner."

There’s an enemies to lovers/forbidden romance, the magic system and world is cool, and the ending isn’t super tidy but I was content with it! Definitely recommend, my only issue is it wasn’t longer!
