"this was pretty good! it didn’t quite meet my expectations but i definitely overhyped it going into it. i really liked it but the ending could’ve been better. but ruben and zach were very similar in the first half of the book, before they (mostly zach) developed. i couldn’t tell whose pov was who’s at times. ⭐️3.5/5⭐️ finished 2/5/22"

"I just finished a trilogy called the Carter Island Trilogy written by Cate Beauman. I highly recommend that series if you are looking for a mystery/romance series. I couldn’t put them down. Its genuinely so good I love this book so much, the ending wasn’t exactly what I was looking forward to but it wasn’t horrible just left me wanting a bit more, still one of my favorite books"
