Life is never black and white. One minute you're a struggling graphic designer in LA that's finally coming to terms with being single forever, and the next you're flying to New York in a private jet to get engaged to your ex-boyfriend's older brother. At least...that's what everyone thinks. Forced to clean up his playboy image in order to protect his company, Beckham Sinclair, the city's most eligible billionaire bachelor, wants me to be his fake fiancée and personal assistant. Now I'm spending every spare second with a man I thought I'd never see again. My freshly mended heart has barely recovered from the first time a Sinclair broke it. But with each passing day, Beck's dirty mouth and lingering stares make me question his motives-and mine.As the line blurs between real and pretend, only one thing is certain: there are secrets hiding in this city full of black ties and white lies.Black Ties and White Lies is a billionaire, fake relationship, forced proximity, and ex's older brother novel and a complete standalone by Kat Singleton.

"Honestly I questioned DNFing in at about 40%ish. Felt it got bland and would just keep repeating the same things. Ending was a cute happily ever after but felt like a rushed ending instead of making a second book. Not very spicy other than like 4 chapters of one scene… would recommend to a new spicy reader "

"Honestly loved this book. It’s new and doesn’t have a lot of reviews so I was hesitant to read it but I couldn’t put it down! If you’re interested in spice, dominant male leads, and fake dating you’ll love this. Highly recommend. "

"I’ve been seeing this book everywhere and after reading a bunch of mix reviews; I was excited to read to it but my expectation was set fairly low because of reviews. I’m not gonna lie, it was actually a fun read! I’m digging the whole ex-boyfriend’s older brother trope. I liked that Beck straight out told her, he wanted her instead of just completely lying, putting up a front that it was all fake. The **** was also very good. A whole lot of tension building up to their relationship. I found myself laughing a lot especially with the FMC. Definitely glad I picked it up & enjoyed it."
"3.75
this book was really cute. Beck did everything and more for Margo, all to get her to notice him and possibly feel something towards him. It was a “love at first sight” thing on his part, which i’m not a fan of, as i find it unrealistic. Besides that, this book was a bit different from other billionaire romances i’ve personally read, as he started out loving her instead of growing to love her. Beck turned out to be a big cinnamon roll instead of an unfeeling, cold, billionaire type, which i personally haven’t read before. He hardcore simp-ed for Margo, which is what we all want, isnt it? lol

Tropes: He falls first, fake engagement, ex’s brother, instalove, billionaire x assistant"
