"Not the greatest of her books so far. Thought I would really enjoy it because I’ve liked two others of hers and the plot sounded interesting. Very slow, didn’t get interested until maybe 75% of the way through. Really didn’t like the Savannah character and thought the events at the end of the book weren’t realistic. Could have been at least 100 pages shorter. Glad I finished, but probably wouldn’t read again. "

"I couldn’t even finish the last 20 pages because it was just way too drawn out, basically just skimmed them. It’s like you’re about to climax and right before you get there it just disappears. I thought it was going to be more of a thriller, but it wasn’t. It doesn’t end how you think it will, you might have all these theories but really nothing happens. And then of course right at the end they just start talking about Covid in the story"
