"Dual POV and available on KU. Book three in the Twisted series. I feel so meh about all three books so far. They've been so hyped and every time I pick up the next book I'm full of hope this will be the one that makes me love the series. I liked the dynamic between Josh and Jules but the story felt like it was dragging at the 60% point. It picked back up closer to the end but it took me longer than usual to finish this book because it was just meh. It's fine not my favourite. There are some good spicy scenes 3-3.5/5 🌶️level."
"⟟ cannot even begin to tell y’all how much ⟟ LOVED this book. ⟟ relate to jules in some ways. the sarcasm, the humor, the enemies to lovers?! ⟟ love how in a way it was similar to ava and alex (jules got w her best friends brother, alex got w his best friends sister). one of my top favorites. "
"*SPOILERS* Again…if you don’t like spicy books, don’t pick this book or any book in this series up. (Although I feel like this had less spice in the spicy moments compared to the first two…just me??) ANYWAYS…I started this HATING the people it involved (not for any particular reason besides I don’t wanna cheer Ava on and then cheer her brother on for getting with Jules. I guess it makes me feel dirty) I do have to say though it was a cute Enemies-Lovers book. I didn’t expect them to get together in all honesty (Not that it’s not predictable but just based on the characters built in the first book it hadn’t seemed like Jules would ever do that) Did anyone else get some extra thump thumps in their chest when Ava almost caught them…TWICE??? Like that had me SCARED and I wasn’t even the guilty one. Skipping later on in the book, I liked how Josh realized his feelings after hearing how Alex feels about Ava. “When I’m not with her, I want her around. When I am with her, I want the moment to last forever” (I’m gonna be honest this had me tearing up but GEEKING and kicking my feet back and forth) Also…am I the only one that HATED the fact they kept fighting their feelings? Like bruh…y’all whipped just admit it already…it was irritating me because they connected so well. I truly believe they are each others twin flames and I LIVE for people who find their person. I would totally recommend this series, even though I think I got a little too attached to Alex and Ava from the first book. I liked how we got glimpses from Alex, Ava, Bridget and Rhys. "
"Enemies to lovers trope! Huang did a good job at this trope. It was super corny and I enjoyed their bickering STILL. Def spicy because of the “arrangement” and I was all here for it. I rated it a 4, because I didn’t feel enough butterflies lol. Weird explanation. The story was great because the characters still had their personalities. "
"Overall good story. Took me a while to get through and it was really long. I feel like it could have been about 50-100 pages shorter and still got across the same story. I liked both characters and appreciated the bonus scenes at the end. "

"4.3⭐️
Totally has to be my fav so far, actually tied with TG but with TG a bit lower. It was far too long for my liking and a bunch of **** scenes I personally didn’t need or idrc about.

Trauma
Jules: Abusive mom, Pedophilia, abusive/manipulative bf.
Josh: Doctor, betrayed by Alex and Michael.

I don’t remember **** because I zoomed past this book but I’ll try my best.
Well, this one was the well fitted couple yet, despite their clashing personalities, I guess like calls to like. They have to be one of the couples I hold dear to my heart.

The **** buddies agreement was predictable. I mean obviously they were gonna break the rules eventually and fall in love gradually. Anyways, I feel like this is my 1-2 favorite out of the Twisted series because I guess they are more realistic out of all the couples, no ********.
Jules wants to be a lawyer, Josh is a doctor, completely believable jobs or things to be. Also, their experiences, I felt close to empathy. While the others, most I could do is feel sympathy. Their “obstacle” had to be one of the most heartbreaking ones next to Bridget and Rhys. Like ughhhh, the simplicity and how realistic it was made it sting even more, 6/10.

******* Max got on my nerves and seeing Jules have to go through so much repeatedly nonstop since Max came along kind of stung. I was also a bit curious as to how they would amend the relationship after:

“Remember when I told you I forgive you? I lied.”

Like oh my god, I understand Josh but at the same time, Jules is really trying here. She’s not a good person by any means but that doesn’t necessarily make her a bad one. I also really liked their chemistry and dynamic. Their bickering has to be a favorite.

Eating her out in the library was craaaaazzzy though. And when Josh massaged her with the Lavender oil :), not to sound like I have ill intentions but I was really hoping for her endometriosis to come back because I feel like it kind of came about just to further along the plot/“romance”. Sometimes I felt some stuff was forced but it worked out okay."
